Experience Awards Community ExperienceMaura joined Parlee McLaws as an associate in 2021 after completing her articles with the firm. She previously worked as a summer student at the firm in 2018. Maura maintains a general litigation practice with a particular interest in Aboriginal law. She also has experience in insurance litigation. Prior to law school, Maura received a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction, with a Sociology major and an English minor. During law school, Maura engaged in various volunteer and co-curricular activities. She completed a credit program with Downtown Legal Services in the criminal law division, mooted in the Laskin Moot, ran a working group on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity for the University of Toronto Faculty of Law’s International Human Rights Program, and completed a semester abroad at the University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia.
